Our own Public Relations Officer Lalaine Guanzon has been named one of FemaleNetwork.com’s 100 Amazing Filipinas. Supporting products made by persons with disabilitiess (PWDs) has long been an important advocacy in the country, but Lalaine takes it several notches higher by actively promoting the welfare of PWDs in her capacity as the public relations officer of the Circle of Friends Foundation, Inc (COFFI).
Through mainstream media features and events participation, she brings attention to the cause, affecting everyone with her bubbly personality and intense passion. Together with COFFI founder and equally amazing woman Margretha Gloor, Lalaine indefatigably promotes an array of arts and handicrafts masterfully created not just by people in wheelchairs, but mouth painters as well. COFFI also operates the Wheelmobile, the first accessible transport service conceptualized in 2003, which allows PWDs to be more empowered.
